James Wiley

James is an Eduventures Principal Analyst at ACT | NRCCUA. James focuses on helping stakeholders understand the success criteria for technology and on ensuring alignment between their technology applications and organizational goals. James lives in Providence, Rhode Island and holds an MA and a BA in Classics from Cambridge University, a Certificat d’Enseignant in Sociology from L’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, and a BA in Philosophy, Greek and Latin from Lehman College, The City University of New York.

Bill is Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President of Blackboard. Bill is deeply committed to leveraging Blackboard’s innovative technologies and services in order to partner with the global education community and enable student and institutional success. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis. He earned a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, as well as a Master of Business Administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
