Marketing Automation Manager

NRCCUA is looking to for an energetic Marketing Automation Manager to join our marketing team. Our marketing and sales organizations are changing and expanding, and the Marketing Automation Manager is a critical part of that growth. In this position, you will work with marketing and sales leadership to develop and execute lead generation programs, manage the top of the sales funnel and track the progress of campaigns and programs.

  • Assist with the planning and implementation of digital marketing programs to targeted customer groups and segments
  • Set up and test automations and segmentations in the marketing automation platform
  • Manage a range of marketing activities including drip/nurture programs, monthly newsletters, webinars, regional events, landing page creation, form building and other lead generation activities
  • Maintain a data-driven approach through continual experimentation and optimization (a/b testing, etc.)
  • Develop nurture program content and manage list targeting and suppression as necessary
  • Curate (or create) content for monthly Member Newsletter and manage execution
  • Use agreed targeting criteria to manage list-building and segmentation
  • Monitor conversion rates and make appropriate, incremental adjustments to improve results and optimize engagement
  • Working closely with Sales Operations, create a foundation for reporting, tracking, and measuring against KPIs
  • Collaborate closely with sales to constantly improve and optimize for success
  • Regularly communicate campaign programs and performance to key stakeholders

Required Skills / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business or similar
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience working in digital marketing, ideally with a fast-paced technology or software company
  • Experience building and executing marketing programs in marketing automation systems such as Eloqua, SalesForce Marketing Cloud and Marketo
  • Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high level results
  • Experience developing demand generation programs and measuring the impact of lead generation programs
  • Possesses an inherent sense of urgency and customer-first mindset
  • Interest in technology and research solutions for the higher ed industry
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and writing skills, especially within the context of digital marketing and web publishing
  • Familiarity with WordPress a plus
  • Basic HTML/ CSS skills and best practices for building marketing assets such as landing pages and email is a plus
  • Experience with WebEx or other webinar tools a plus
  • Limited travel may be required, estimated at 10% or less

Client Services Integration Specialist

Position Description:

The Client Services Integration Specialist will assist colleges and universities in the transfer and manipulation of their data into NRCCUA products and services. This person will work directly with colleges and universities and with NRCCUA Enrollment Services Consultants to provide the highest quality service to our partners. Successful candidates will have extensive knowledge of data formats and the ability to format and manipulate large volumes of data effectively and efficiently. Knowledge of SQL and Alteryx is a plus.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Provide extraordinary customer support to higher education clients in the transfer and transformation of data files to and from NRCCUA.
  • Work directly with higher education clients to communicate data and format needs for purchased programs and services including, but not limited to, historical enrollment extracts, suppression lists for marketing services, list append efforts and transfer.
  • Prioritize data transfer efforts with business owner needs to ensure client objectives are met.
  • Experience mapping data flow diagrams.
  • Strong understanding of data security best practices.
  • Troubleshoot data integration challenges to assist clients maximize their return on purchased products.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to maximize efficiencies in data transfer processes.
  • Impact the lives of millions of college-going students through partnerships with member institutions.

Required Education or Formal Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;

Research Consultant

The Research Consultant will be responsible for using consultative and value-based sales techniques to understand prospective customer’s needs and recommend Eduventures research solutions in a compelling and strategic manner. In this role, the Research Consultant will foster relationships at the Executive and C-Level at higher education institutions in an assigned territory. This position is responsible for managing existing client relationships and establishing new revenue opportunities via cold-calling, prospecting, and closing new business in higher education, particularly those with a prioritized interest in adult learner demand, academic program/academic innovation and student success. Success in this position requires the ability to understand, communicate and align a spectrum of client needs to high-end research, advisory, and consulting services. The ability to build a long-term portfolio of accounts and manage a multi-faceted business pipeline, along with a demonstrated record of meeting individual and organizational goals, is essential. This position will require 50-75% travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Eduventures via presentations and group discussions with higher education leaders. Build relationships and secure subscriptions by meeting with educational executives (President, CIO, Provost, etc.) to identify client challenges and present relevant solutions.
  • Develop a strategic sales plan and individual account tactics to effectively penetrate and identify business needs with ultimate decision makers. Exceed sales quota by creating and communicating the value of member services with prospective customers.
  • Maintain a positive reputation and credibility during and after the initial sales process.
  • Effectively use published research and findings when engaging prospective and existing clients.
  • Exhibit natural curiosity on market trends and provide market insights to inform research and new product development.
  • Collaborate with Client Research Analysts and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and success.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and analysts to create targeted client proposals in which client needs are identified and mapped to research solutions.

Required Experience:

  • Experience as an executive in higher education who leveraged research and/or advisory services in a strategic manner.
  • Experience with one or more of the following areas preferred: online education, continuing education, academic program innovation, curriculum development and measuring institutional sustainability.
  • Professional sales experience selling research or professional services preferred but not required.
  • Flexible and adaptive to change; able to work productively in a changing environment

Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Job Function:

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to be a key member of a small, skilled, results-oriented team of product engineers. We’re building the next generation of our products, and we want someone with as much passion for the work as we have. If you absolutely love working with the MEAN stack, and have a solid foundation of software engineering skills, you may be the person we’re looking for.

You’ll be working as part of a Scrum team, developing web apps and RESTful microservices with Docker on AWS. This is a hands-on role, working with other senior engineers, writing code, testing, and deploying the finished apps and libraries.

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Create working, maintainable, and fast web apps, web service APIs, and libraries from product requirements and UX/UI designs, and in conjunction with other senior engineers.
  • Enhance, refactor, and continuously improve the codebase.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical people.
  • Solve business needs with short-term deliverables, while constantly improving and moving towards long-term architectural goals.
  • Generate new ideas, never say or think “that’s not my job.”

Required Education or Formal Training:

  • 2+ years of experience developing with the MEAN stack – MongoDB, Express, Angular, and Node.js. Angular 2 experience is a plus.
  • 1+ years of experience developing on AWS and Linux.
  • Experience in RESTful service development on the Node platform. Experience with Docker and microservice architecture is a plus.
  • Ability to write idiomatic Javascript code.
  • Knowledge of Node performance techniques.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and tuning Node servers.
  • Good working knowledge of unit testing and continuous integration.
  • Python skills are a plus. We typically use Node for front-line servers, but we also use Python for server development.
  • Good understanding of OOAD, OOP, and design patterns.
  • An appreciation for pragmatism and simplicity in code.
  • A strong product and design sensibility.
  • BS Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Certified Scrum Master is a plus
